Vellux greatly improves customer service at supermarkets and hypermarkets. By simply pressing a button, shoppers can let staff know that they require assistance in a specific section of the supermarket (butchers, fishmongers, fruit and vegetables, etc), without having to search the aisles for a member of staff. The member of staff assigned to that section receives an instant message on his pager.
Members of staff can also be summoned to any area of the supermarket (sections, tills, warehouses, or the car park) if they are required.
